An idea. The passion of cousins, born from a love of South Africa, design and beautiful things.

Literally meaning "an act of service", but also a simple building, a church. It sits in a small town, hugging the South African coast, windswept and beautiful. A place that means so much to those whose lives it has permeated.
It has built friendships, cemented family bonds with salty days on the beach, and ultimately it inspired this shop.

As expats living in the Pacific North West, we wanted to do our best to enrich the lives of our suppliers, as well as bring you beautiful products.

We strive to work with artisanal suppliers from South Africa who shares our passion of community.  Wherever possible we have worked with female owned, or majority female employed business to ensure we can empower the amazing communities of women in South Africa.

Our goal is to make sure the people we are sourcing from are committed to making beautiful products that not only enrich the lives of the people buying them, but more importantly, the people making them. 

We care where our products come from, and who made them, and we will always do our best to share these stories with you!
